Metalhead Community is an independent digital music magazine that was birthed in 2016 out of Burak Gundogdu's fervent passion for rock and metal culture. Over the years, the platform has grown and evolved, becoming a vital international tastemaker in the metal music industry. We're dedicated to celebrating the nuances of rock/metal culture and amplifying the voices of emerging talents, artists, and bands from across the globe.

Role Overview:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Music Journalists to join our team. As a Music Journalist at Metalhead Community, you will be at the forefront of discovering and showcasing new talents and diving deep into the rock and metal scenes worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Compose engaging articles about emerging talent in the music industry.
• Review albums, concerts, and interview artists/bands.
• Research and stay updated with new music trends, stories, and significant events in the rock and metal world.
• Engage with the Metalhead Community, providing insights, news, and updates.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and discuss potential stories or artists to cover.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Passionate about rock, metal, and related genres.
• Knowledgeable about emerging talent and independent artists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a team.
