Love Ghost – Dead Brother Song Review

Today we are featuring another promising alternative rock band; LOVE GHOST, from the USA. We have reviewed their characteristic song; Dead Brother, along with its character, style, story, potential and more.

Love Ghost is a promising alternative rock band I have discovered through Metalhead Community Submissions about 6 months ago with their addictive song; Let it All Burn, and featured them here on Metalhead Community. This time, they are back with another powerful song; Dead Brother, released as a single album not long ago in 2020. The band is officially making releases since 2016 and Dead Brother is their 19th single release since then, which is truly incredible. These young fellas are one of the very few bands that I believe are on the right track to making it happen as a professional band. They will and deserve to be because of their activity, work ethic, and strategy. I have huge respect for their smart decisions instead of keeping everything emotional as many artists/bands do. Please give the song a listen while reading the rest of the article.

Dead Brother is a very powerful song with addictive melodies and a captivating groove. It is a perfect example of Radio/Tv friendly music for me. The song sounds very fresh from the beginning to the end. As I have also mentioned above, I have listened to a couple of songs of Love Ghost and I can easily say that Dead Brother is one of the unique songs where they show strong character in their music. The instrumentation is exceptional. I am not sure if these fellas are making all these decisions alone or having some kinda help but in both ways, the outcome is quite flawless. I personally loved the walk of the bass and drums. It is super catchy and memorizing. All these ideas along with the general feeling of the song are extremely recognizable. It has very specific mysterious vibes you can immediately tell that its Love Ghost playing.

Technically, Dead Brother has great standards as well. As I have mentioned above, the post-production also has the radio-friendly approach as well as its musicality and structure. Everything sounds very well balanced, mixed, and harmonized. This kind of music has a lot of potential listeners which is what they aim with all these decisions they make every single time.

When I take all these into account, I’d like to say that I have once again enjoyed listening to Love Ghost. Dead Brother might be the very first track they show great character with their instrumentation, approach, and songwriting abilities, and I am sure it won’t be the last one!

Please go ahead and check out the links below if you’d like to find out more about the artist/band, follow them on social media and subscribe to their channels to show your support and also not to miss any upcoming releases.
