Lunar Woods - Never Mind - Song Review - Stoner Grunge Rock from Izhevsk, Russia

Today we are featuring a promising grunge rock band, Lunar Woods, from Izhevsk, Russia. I have reviewed their latest single, Never Mind along with its character, style, story, potential, and more.

Lunar Woods is a promising grunge rock band I discovered about a week ago with their latest release, "Never Mind", released on September 10, 2021. Now, please give the song a listen while reading the rest of the article.

When I think of the collective in general, I've got a positive feeling. Never Mind is a successful piece of work with many good things and almost no weaknesses about it. First of all, the band has traditional rock and grunge rock origins that I love, also, supporting this nostalgic feeling with a powerful sound. They don't sound exactly modern nor traditional, have influences from both sides.

The song stands out with its fantastic lively energy and groove at first. After feeling the level of energy in your body, you naturally start paying attention to what's coming up next. Never Mind made me think that Lunar Woods is mostly influenced by the 90s, and I am glad to have that in common with them. The listener feels the originality of those times in their music, a music style that doesn't get old.

Lastly, these Russian gentlemen have blended this nostalgia with progressive, stoner, and grunge rock influences in a tasty manner. The song flows beautifully from the beginning to the end, nothing is too much or missing, just good music.

Technically, Never Mind is a good-sounding song with a good mix without hesitation. In my book, this band is close to finding their authentic sound.

The only weakness I see here is the misconception between their music and visuals. Sonically, this song makes me think of a young Alice in Chains image. However, the band has chosen to use a modern theme in their visuals with Sci-Fi and Space elements in them. I just couldn't find anything in common between the two.

When I take all these into account, I'd like to say that I have had a great time listening to Lunar Woods. Never Mind is promising work, a successful step forward in their careers.

Please go ahead and check out the links below if you'd like to find out more about the artist/band, follow them on social media, subscribe to their channels to show your support, and not miss any upcoming releases.

In conclusion, Metalhead Community Team congratulates Lunar Woods for their new single, Never Mind, and wishes them the very best in their future careers. Thank you for reading.
