Karma Vulture – DreamEater Song Review

Today we are featuring another promising stoner rock band; KARMA VULTURE, from the USA. We have reviewed their powerful song; DreamEater, along with its character, style, story, potential and more.

Karma Eater is a promising stoner/hard rock band I have discovered through Metalhead Community Submissions about 3 months ago with their impressive song; DreamEater, off from their single album which was released in 2020. The band is officially making releases since 2019. They have started their careers with a single release; Karma Vulture (2019), and continued with 3 more singles; Long Beach Vacation (2019), DreamEater (2020), and Loud as Fuck (2020). Although the band is kinda new, who only started their careers a year ago and released 3 songs in total until now, they show great potential with their approach and understanding of music here, especially on this song. Now, please give it a listen while reading the rest of the article.

DreamEater is a very successful piece of work with a strong character in its making. When you listen to it with full attention, you can also hear that this song has almost the same musical and technical level as the most successful bands from this specific music style, for instance; Red Fang, which is truly admirable. As you might also remember from some of my previous articles that we usually look for uniqueness and potential whenever we listen to new coming bands’ music. In this example, Karma Eater is mostly exceeding our expectations with their experience, whereas the structure and the instrumentation of DreamEater are showing us how advanced musicians they are. The song might sound simple to you at first, yet they are making a genuine difference with their partitions. Actually, when you think about it, this is what’s so great about this kinda stoner rock music. They are much more innovative with everything they do than other traditional rock music genres, and easily separate them from the other tons of bands just like in this example here.

Technically, DreamEater has top-class standards as well. This is one of the best sounding stoner rock songs I have listened to for some time. Everything sounds super atmospheric, very well handled, recorded, mixed, balanced, and in perfect harmony. This is another example that we see how big difference a producer can possibly do. He simply took this task, perfectly understood the band, their desires, potential, musical taste and strengths, and added their music “top quality” label. The way this song sounds along with its great music video was one of the important reasons that I wanted to feature them here on Metalhead Community, and I am sure I won’t be the only one who thinks that way after publishing this article.

When I take all these into account, I’d like to say that I have had a great time listening to Karma Vulture. DreamEater is a magnificent song which is giving the world a hint of what these American gentlemen are capable of. Well, this is a remarkable debut for the band indeed. All they have to do is to continue making music while maintaining their standards in their music!

Please go ahead and check out the links below if you’d like to find out more about the artist/band, follow them on social media and subscribe to their channels to show your support and also not to miss any upcoming releases.
